So I have been playing around with the new shaders Eustace has been mentioning. Here is my first render.

Hildy Johnson, Ace Reporter for the Morning Post.
    What models I used
    Background: City City by mostdigitalcreations.
Background: Window Frame Profiled Rings by spacebones.
Background: Window Wall Accurate Holes Templates by Spacebones.
Hildy: Base Genesis Starter Essentials by DAZ 3D.
Hildy: Hair Deeta Hair by AprilYSH.
Hildy: Dress Genesis 1940's Dresses Prt 1 by Wilmap.
Hildy: Dress Genesis 1940's Dresses Part 2 by Wilmap.
Hildy: Hat OOT Gaudi Tiroler Hat by outoftouch.
Hildy: Morphs Genesis Evolution: Head Morphs by DAZ 3D.
Hildy: Morphs Genesis Evolution: Body Morphs by DAZ 3D.
Hildy: Notepad and Pencil Diner Waitress for Genesis Female by DAZ 3D Ravenhair.

    What shaders I used
The city, hair, shoes, notepad, pencil, the outside of the hat and genesis were all shaded with !News-Herald Morning Edition. The inside of the hat, bow pin, and belt were shaded with the Tartans Expansion Menzies preset. The dress, wall and floor were shaded with Tartans Expansion Argyle and then the !News-Herald Morning Edition was applied over the top.

    Nice, DollyGirl! Very nice.

To clarify, these aren't "Skunkville", yet. The updates to the Mephistopolis Noir set are titled in the directory "20th Century New" and "News-Herald Morning Edition", and will be released with the forthcoming Tartans Expansion Pack for the Mephistopolis Noir shaders.

Thank you Eustace. It is always fun to do a render like this. One of my favorite actresses is Rosalind Russell. I just loved her Hildy and I am glad that her work is being preserved. A great movie, His Girl Friday. Will see if I can do some more of Hildy.

Maybe even a comic of her? ;)

Here's the CMYK version of Skunkville, with dots on, and off.

I considered an Omnibus version of the shader, but it's much too RAM-heavy: the DSM file alone is nearly 3Mb.

Maybe. There is a scene I want to do but a comic, ah I don't know, that is a lot of commitment and I don't think I have the time to work on making it come about.

Here is much the same scene as before, now in CMYK Skunkville, to compare the dots-off feature at 100%, 50%, and 0%.

And the same sequence in RGB. As you can see, there's a notable difference between the CMYK and RGB re-compositions.

The two "Illustrator" modes that come with each version are Sepia and B&W (Black and White). Their gradient is adjustable independently and they correspond to the Mephistopolis News-Herald shader in my previous release. Here are B&W with dots on, half-Sepia with dots at 50%, and Sepia, with dots off.
