Finally, use your favorite Genesis 2 Female Hair without limitations on your Genesis 8 Female characters! Automatically convert almost your entire library of Hair items using the new Hair Converter from Genesis 2 Female to Genesis 8 Female! The Hair Converter scripts provide batch execution for automatically converting your Genesis 2 Female Hair to Genesis 8 Female Hair in your library. Easily select the hair items in your library, select an output directory, and execute the script. Even better, icons and categories are copied from your original Genesis 2 Female hair to the new Genesis 8 Female hair items.
Your new Genesis 2 Female hair is completely Smart Content aware! They will show up when you select a Genesis 8 Female. Plus, all materials shown in Smart Content for your Genesis 2 item will show for your converted Genesis 8 item.
The Hair Converter script does not work with wearables (e.g., multi-pair hair). Items without metadata can be converted but will not show up in Smart Content. They may also need to be converted using a Force Convert Item(s) button. The script may not be able to convert all clothing items without issues. Mid and high-level ponytails that were originally moved with bones will lose that functionality during the conversion process.

Finally I've finished comverting V4, M4, Genesis 1, 2 & 3 clothes and Genesis 3 Hair, phew I can stop running scripts at last.
I can just sit back and relax.I know I'll just check the forum...Oh God NOOOOO!
Well just one more (I can stop anytime I want)
They're back (and with lots of hair)
I will have failed in my mission if you can stop running scripts and actually use all the conversions!
Still waiting on G2F to G3F... I think. Back to the scriptorium!
Thats the thing, you finally stop runnig scripts and its like your shell shocked (script shocked?)

Ah this is excellent! I had so many hair products I wasn't using because I was too

OMG!!! You sneaky wicked man!!! Bought it okay so tell me is the Genesis2 male hairs and generation 4 hairs in the works? Cause I am on a limited budget and lately all I've been getting is your scripts cause they extend the use of what I have and I love'em ,thank you and Sickleyeild for these converters !!

Great! I slowed around and missed the intro discount on the G3M>G8M, and now I have to wait for it to mature. Fortunately, you release a new package every week (or so it seems); so, I won't have long before I can convert my most-used male hairs. But converting these will keep me busy. I think I have a system I like now.

Converting hair from one figure to another?
I first choose the output Directory that is Documents/Studio/My Library/People/GenesisF / Hair
I then have to add the G2 hair. But i can only find them in Data/ cloud in separate folders. Where can
i find the folder with all G2 hair to check a list with all of the hairs to converting them?

You can add them from anywhere as long as they have "Hair" in the path.
I did convert one of G2 hairs and it appeared in the G8 Smart content folder. but rhere is no add ons to open in the
G8 so i had to unfilter it and choose the G2 version to get to the add ons. Is this usual with conversions?
It should. At the least, materials should show up in Smart Content when you select the hair. Which hair is this? What are the add-ons?

Most of the hairs do show Add ons but some dont - But filtering the name of the hair brings up the original with add ons.
Another problem i found: Ibby hair-When selecting the DUF i get No hair fibers detected?
