An error has occurred message casues crash

Does any one else get a pop up error message saying 'an error has occurred'
I have to force quite Carrara Pro (8) every time this happens.
I use a Mac OSX 10.6.8

    Hi,
    it could be a memory problem.
    Save as soon as possible and occasionally quit the program to clean up the memory.
