Problem reading saved scene after reinstallation of DAZStudio

Bonjour
I have upgrading to Windows 8,1 and after a computer crash i have to reinstal all my c parttion and all my softs ,DAZStudio included
So i have reinstalled DAZStudio_4.6.1.17_Win64
My older folder where all my Daz Studio and content ,scenes etc was and were still installed
My partittion D: is still there and my DAZStudio is still where it was at
Sata part disk2 (D:\) DAZStudio 64 bits and all my content is in My library folder
I always installed my DAZStudio stuff in this location without problem since version 1
I Reinstall DAZDAZStudio_4.6.1.17_Win64 in this D:\ DAZStudio 64 bits folder
DAZStudio is loading ok and i have configured the preferences like before wth content directory manager locating my Poser runtimes
I can create an new scene but i cannot open again an scene saved before this installation
It is very annoying because i have saved many basic scene i used again and again

I got error messages like thes when i try to open a before saved scene

An error occured while reading the file see the log file for more detail
or
Some assets neesed to load the file were missing The content may not work as expected
The following files could not be found


Are there some settings i must change ?
Some suggestions ?

    Can you go to Help > Troubleshooting > View Log File and pot some of the lines near the bottom about missing files?

    Can you try to load your scene and then go to the bottom of the log and just post the bottom?

    Here EXTRACTS from another try of loading a saved scene

    In this scene the meshes are loading but all is white on these objects

    Having both "D:\DAZStudio 64 bits\My Library" and "D:\DAZStudio 64 bits\My Library\scene" listed may be causing problems -- nested content folders can make it hard for DS to determine where the Data folder is located.

    Can you pick one of the missing files and see what the full path to it is on your hard drive?

    Allo

    Two weeks ago
    Everything was working good ,even with two scenes folders at different localisations (because i begin outside My library and continue inside My Library--i dont remember why i have shifted)
    After my windows 8,1 crash and reinstalled windows on my c:\ drive , i have all my DAZSTudio stuff on my D:\ partition and I have just reinstalled DAZStudio again inside it

    And my problem was beginning

    I have tried today to change some settings without success
    I just have copied all the scenes in My Library but same problem is there

    Is there some .ini i can change manually ?

    I have a backup of my c:\ before windows 8 .1 .My be i can manually copy some files for DAZ Studio found in users ,program data or others, trying to reconstitue my before crash setting

    I know i have a very bad english but i am a french speaking person
    I thanks you for your effort to help me

    I'm inclined to agree with Mike. As the Scene folder is listed after the main content folders DAZ Studio might be set to find the Data folder in it and not in the proper folder. Which I see is listed. Nesting breaks DAZ Studio paths in the Content loads.

    I'm thinking you ADDED those folders with DAZ Studio up and running on the Old set up. It worked then. The new Clean install of DAZ Studio started with the Paths Nested and this time it Saw the error and refuses to work.

    I have a backup of all my DAZStudio 64 bits, dated of august 2013 ,on externe drive
    i make a comparaison with the actual one on D:\ (the one where i reinstalled DAStudio after my crash) and I find in the actual one a folder i didn't have on last august ,a folder in MY Library and called Databases wich contain these files:
    contentDb.blb
    contentDb.dat
    contentDb.ind
    contentDb.vdb
    master.vdb

    I try to change the name or cut and paste in a temp folder this Databases folder but i cannot

    Some suggestion please !!

    That's the CMS database -- it was probably in the default location on your old computer. But that wouldn't cause problems reading a saved scene.
    You need to move any Data and Runtime folder that's under My Library\Scene up one level and merge them with the ones under My Library, and remove that path from your Content Directory Manager.

    I have two folder named data now one in D:\DAZStudio4 64 bits\MY Library and another in D:\DAZStudio4 64 bits
    Must have merge these two in one and where is suppose to be ?

    Same with Runtime
    I have one in D:\DAZStudio4 64 bits
    Another in
    D:\DAZStudio4 64 bits\MY Library
    Must have merge these two in one and where is suppose to be ?

    I need to be sure because after merging it will be difficult to come back

    and after this what configuration i must put in my content manager ?

    Yes, merge them so the only Data and Runtime folders are directly under "My Library", and have only "My Library" set in both DS Content Directory Manager (both DS and Poser formats) and in DIM (although you can still have the Poser content folders as well, just no subfolders of My Library).

    Can you show us the Content Directory Manager as it is now, some of the error messages, and the full path to the files DS can't find? Was this scene originally saved in My Library/Scenes or in the Scenes folder outside of My Library?

    That's a different issue -- this is a .daz scene file.

    Note that a majority of saved scene in the past has error ,generally the textures are the problem The caracter is loaded without material
    Often often scenes with genesis and genesis 2 female and something from Poser are not correctly loaded
    I have imported some Poser file with success (.pzz)

    You need to have My Library listed under Poser Formats as well -- that should fix the missing textures. As for the missing Data files, can you pick one and find the full path to it?

    No i have verified the first time isee this kind of message and see only one MY Library

    I see i also have this folder
    D:\DAZ\Content Management Service
    with many folders : databases (that why may be i didn't have it in my ancient installation), license, project etc
    This folder was there for a long time and now it have no refrence to it since new installation and all my C:\ drive is new after the crash

    The funny thing about this is that every thing was working perfecrtly two week ago with all my setting even they was not regular one
    I try to never install something in my SSD on c:\ except users preferences I want to keep my c partition as clean as possible and as small as possible because i frequenly backup it with Acronis True image
