Carrara Animators have been busy over at CarraraTors participating in the Skill Building Exercises which they have found to be a lot of fun.The idea was put forward by a couple of members who wanted a way of furthering their knowledge and skill without getting involved in full blown movies.( we have seperate competitions for those and you might like to check out the Xmas challenge on now)

What is exciting is what can come out of these simple exercises and in particular I refer to an excellent tutorial made by cyborgty - and we're all desperate for tutorials arn't we? Cyborg said he never made a tutorial; before , though that's hard to believe but if it encourages others to do something similar wouldnt that be just great for our resources !

Cyborgty's tutorial shows how to make a physics effect using keyframed animation to make balls bounce. They dont just bounce either - they race each other !

Also pleased to announce the CarrarTor forum now supports the French and German languages though posts and conversation remain in English but for anyone using those languages, navigation will now be easy.

Yes, Cyborgty is very gifted as well in animation as in realization of scenarios, he can teach us a lot with its tutorials!
