Hi Guys. I decided to finish this golden oldie thats just been sitting in my 'Unfinished Projects' folder and release it after all:) Will be one product that supports both Genesis 3 and 8. It has some cool new features and is way better than the original Genesis 2 version. Was a bit harder to work with due to the reduction in polygons on g3 and 8's tongue compared to G2, but I like how it came out.

Some more promos.
I won't need this much, but when I do need it, I'll DEFINITELY wish I had it (if I don't). But I WILL have it because your utility products are essential. It's too bad that by the time a generation has enough support and diversity to carry its weight, planned obsolescence can be felt creeping closer in 100 days or less (if the past is any guide).
Cool! I've purchased tongue control systems from other vendors, but they're nowhere near as good as the one you created, and I'm especially glad that you;'re supporting G3. Even after all this time, I still like the G3 figures better than the G8s.
Also glad this shall have G3 compatibility! There are some characters from that range who could benefit from this. One of my favourite products and glad it'll be available, again!
Does that intriguing mouth stretching morph have the ability to make the cheeks/mouth narrow, too? The character looks like they're puffing air out. Seems like the mouth would narrow to reflect skin elasticity.
This is essential. Thank you.
Here is an example of a very narrow configuration. The horizontal and vertical morphs can also be dialed in the negative by 50%
Will this let the tongue roll in a u shape?
How much distortion is there if you dial beyond the limits?
No real distortion, but depending on shape you might get clipping. EG set Mouth Horizontal morph beyond -100 and the bottom and top lips will cross each other.
Thanks, sounds good.
Oh,wow! You got me when I saw the demons with big long tongues. Oh - yeah.... gotta have this, need more demons....
I just bought the product, but I think I may not be understanding it. I am not sure how the mouth assist controller works. When I pose the tongue, and dial in the mouth assist controller, I do not see any change in the face. How exactly does the controller work? Can't seem to duplicate the faces in the promo images
Hi. The mouth assist controller only really takes effect when you make use of the the Ztongue Length Morph. It serves no purpose if the tongue is still within the mouth, if that makes sense. Would be strange if the tongue was still within the mouth and the assist effect on the mouth activated. So it is primarily linked to the Ztongue length morph and takes effect when the tongue starts to appear outside the mouth. From there, it will work when other morphs such as side to side, and tongue width are also used. The best way to see how it works is dial up the mouth assist controller, and dial up the Ztongue Length Morph to see how it works at different strengths. Feel free to post any examples and I will assist in the best morph combo for a specific result.
ah ok thanks. I was using the tongue In-Out morph to get the tongue to leave the mouth. I used the z length now and it works. Thanks
Hi,
I just tried the Tongue Control on G3F. But somehow the "Mouth Assist Control" does not work.
What's wrong?
Andy
Hi. Read two posts up.
So sorry,
But as you see, the tongue moved far enough outside the mouth for any "assist controller" ...
The "in/out" control was used. There isn't any "normal" mouth (open) morph, even within the additional head morphs, spending the necessary space for the tongue streched out.
Think, some other morphes within your product should be taken into account. Looks as if this product needs some further testing.
I'm happy with it as it is. The morph you are using to stick tongue out is called BASE In-out, meaning it only pushes out the base. Just because the limits on that morph give the appearance that it sticks out of the mouth, that is not its main function. It is not primarily meant for sticking the tongue out the mouth. For that you use the Length Morph. The Base morphs in this product are there to adjust the tongues base when you use things like curl and side to side where the default base position causes the tongue to sometimes intercept the lips where the mouth assist controller can't help. So if you want to stick the tongue out the mouth, use the length morph. The Base In-Out morph is not really meant for that purpose. This is what the base morphs are used for (see attachments for comparison with base morphs unused vs used). So just swap using the Base in-out with length morph and you all good.
Hm, OK.
So the arrangement/categories/titles of the controls are somehow misleading.
I know - the creator (programmer) knows what it is for and while testing uses it only in the intended way.
But "normal" users are way different.
