Help!

I am rendering a halloween animation and some strange pink render elements appear. I render an image scene. This weird "effect" does not appear in all images.

I attached a screenshot.

try moving your camera slightly or if that doesn't work change your shadow on your lights from "shadow map" to "raytraced"

@StratDragon: Yay! Thank you! I am at work right now. Let's hope that the animation is rendered correctly with raytrace when I return home. *drooling on keyboard*

I just checked it! With raytraced shadows it's perfect, although after 9 hours only the half of the animiation has been rendered.

It is a known render error with shadow mapped lights in the current version of 3Delight ...

In All versions of 3Delight for a bit now. I so hope those get fixed in the next Renderman update.

Is an ETA for a bugfix?

No ETA that I know of ...
We will have to wait first for 3Delight to get a bugfixed version and then we have to wait until Daz3d implements it in a new DazStudio version (after testing it doesn't have other bugs ...).
So wait and ... use raytraced shadows.

like Keyra said, we'll have to wait. 3Delight is not a Daz3d product but they have their own forums so you might be able to shed some light on this
