So may great Alien shapes without a home, I had to do something. If you're into alien creatures and dark passageways you can now make an endless warren of twists and turns, rises and falls. Easy to use with Iray and 3DL texture sets and a half pipe hall prop for easy side shots. And I included an egg in time for Easter.
Hope you like it!

You've been watching too many Ridley Scott movies! Always good to meet a fellow fan.
Cheers,
Alex.
That's never a bad thing, right?
Good heavens, never thought we'd get something of this impressive detail. An instant necessary purchase! Mist renders beautifully, too!
We have some amazing furistic corridors meant to portray human technology, but hardly anything to infer non-human design (would imagine this could be highly useful for supernatural and fantasy-themed depictions, too). And Giger influence certainly has some other uses, too. :)
If this sells well, might there be expansions? Upper and lower gaps to transfer between floors? Modular sections of acidic and explosive-looking damage? Alternative textures to make it look like the interior of a still-living creature/biotechnological ship? Bioluminescence? Additional tubes and cables? Other shapes of corridor (triangular, hexagonal, octogonal and so on), with sections to seamlessly connect them to this?
Thanks! It's off to a good start, Not sure if it is just the madness of March or if this really is something people want. I'm like you, I needed/wanted an alien interior and since no one was making one I figured I'd take it on. Well that's not 100% true there is a very nice terestrial set in the store, I wanted a creepier vibe. I'd like to make a large interior chamber with catwalk style walk ways, alien catwalks with a bottom less drop. You have some great ideas! If it continues to do well I would be happy to add more to the series.
Great to hear! Think there were two or three sets along these lines from the ye olde 3Delight era, but nothing of this superb detail. The absence was puzzling me, considering all the demonic, mutant and alien characters in the store. Just combining that half-open pipe section with lighting effects makes for a really unique portrait background, even for completely normal characters, because of how the shadows interact with the textured surface. Especially if combined with Sickleyield's Fast Fog and Swift Smoke effect products and/or Marshian's Tenebroso and Light Up The Dark.
Marshian's recent Iray Kaleidoscope is going to be excellent for making a modular set like this look like it's stretching into infinity, too.
Seriously, a big thank you for filling this void. :)
EDIT: Honourable exception to Jo Lab for their Xeno Temple set, of course! I regard that as more of a grand entrance set, though - and think this should combine extremely well with it.
You're very welcome, Feel free to post images here if you want.
Yes that was the one I was talking about the Xeno Temple Set
Ooh, very nice.
Looks awesome!!
"I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure."
One of the best Sci-Fi movie scenes, Game over man!
"Hey, maybe you haven't been keepin' up on current events, but we just got our a$$e$ kicked, pal!"
"I say we grease this rat f*** sonofab*tch right now!"
Boy, I sure miss Bill.

My personal favourite:
Male marine to amazon: "Hey, Vasquez, has anyone ever mistaken you for a man?"
Vasquez, flexing her magnificent biceps: "No, how about you?"
Cheers,
Alex.
Used a variety of other products, such as Kindred Arts' Ghost Lights 2 along the ceiling, plus heightened the mist prop, but was rather pleased how this turned out for my upcoming 40th film anniversary tribute.
