Hello,
1) I load Genesis (basic male with meat)
2) I support the basic garment "SUPERSUITE".
Now I would like to apply sharders.
How can I do ? I tried testing, but without success.
Thank you
F.

The difference between a materials preset, which is what most clothing mat files are, and a sahder preset is that the former applies to specific, named, surfaces on the selected model while the latter applies to all selected surfaces on the model. If you want to change every part of the model you can hold down the ctrl(Win)/cmd(Mac) key while double-clicking the preset and in the options dialogue tell it to aply to all surfaces instead of selected surfaces, but otherwise you need to select thee areas you want with the Surface Selection Tool (Tools menu) or from the Surfaces pane's list (Window>Panes(Tabs)Surfaces, list down the left hand side with the figure selected).
Sorry but I do not understand the procedure.
I click on a part of Genesis to select it, ok, but no huge "Shader Presets" applies.
Even when I select a body part to "SUPERSUITE".
That's all I can do:
1) Insert Genesis
2) Applied basic "SUPERSUITE"
3) Apply a material, but not a "Shader Presets" to "SUPERSUITE".
Thank you,
F.
You can find links to some helpful Supersuit tutorials here: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/601/
For basic information on shaders and how to apply them, please see this post.
Thank you for the links, I'll look ... :-)
For "Shader Presets" I found out why it did not work. Selections are made from "Surface (color)" in the left panel...
Thank you ;-)
