Why is Bryce still not compatible with MAC OS X after all these years

I would really like to get into the daz studio but without Bryce being compatible on my macs, I will have to use something else, I was told a few years ago that they were working on a version for the better operating system Mac OSX. What ever happened?

If anyone could answer me I would appreciate it. I've got many questions about this. I'm trying to build a complete animated background and scene for a movie.
