Memorable Scenes From Movies - Lessons For Animations

I have some books about the fundamentals of setting up scenes, camera angles, etc. Examples include the "Master Shots" series:

But I also remember specific scenes from movies and TV shows that are really impressive. One example is from the HBO series "Rome". The two protagonists, a mid-level Roman officer and a low level soldier, have been shown to be fierce fighters. This was done via action shots where they are larger than life (low angle shots?) and simply slaughter their enemies using their superior fighting techniques. Then there is a scene where they are accompanying a teenage member of the nobility (the great nephew of Julius Caesar, their boss, and the eventual Emperor Octavian/Augustus). He makes a short speech detailing the various in fighting among the political camps in Rome, and how Caesar should handle them. Then there is a cut back to the two soldiers, very small figures (high camera angle?) in a very large terrain, standing side by side and still, simply looking at him with no expression. That scene said a lot with no dialogue. Yes, they are fierce fighters, but have no concept of the larger political world.

Anybody else got some favorites?
