Strictly speaking a coif is :-
1} A woman's close-fitting cap, now only worn under a veil by nuns.   The coif dates from the 10th century, and is a close fitting cap that covers the top, back, and sides of the head. It was usually made from white linen and tied under the chin. They were everyday wear for lower class men and women from the 12th to 15th centuries.

However Misty probably means the secondary, more modern, usage..

    2) Short for coiffure. (A coiffure is a person's hairstyle.)

Now my pc wont boot at all if yhe 5 tn drive is plugged onto the mobo. Oh the pain. 23 hours to copy my contrnt lib to it.  It stopped working of a sudden with no thume ir reason. Sits at the enter bios screen but it ignored keyboard.  I inplugged the sata cable of new drive. She boots. Doh. At my wits end. These boots were made for walking.

ensure your boot order in BIOS is set for your normal drive and not the new drive.

i saw a thing in the bios to make the sata ports hot.

i enabled it.  booted,  got passed the enter bios screen, then plugged the new drive cable in.

so as of right now i have accsess to the drive,

divvying the 5 tb into 3 partitions. hoping if all under 2tb  i can boot normal.

I have a 1 TB ssd drive for My OS (MBT Partition) and a 4 TB drive (GPT Partition)  for Carrara stuff and other items.

My Carrara Content folder as loaded by DIM which does not include items loaded into carrara folder on my C drive. This folder is 914 GB in size and I have no issues using it.

ssd drives a bit out of my range yet.  would like a 2tb one some day.  heard stuff loads a lot quicker?

i deleted the partitions and reformatted the 5 tb..  so far it's booting.
don't quite trust it to move my content to it right away.

i remember when new hard drives came with the screws to screw it in the case.  used to come with rails even.

teensyweensy screws have a bad habit of falling to the floor where they disappear into a vortex of infinity.  never to be found again.
goes to the same place as socks and dropped lancets?

YOu can get smaller SSD's for a lot cheaper than the large ones.

I just bought 2 250 GB SSD's for $40 CDN. they are to be sued as the OS drives for a FreeNAS installation using an old tower. With 5 X 4 TB drives for storage.

The 1 TB are more like $150 -300 depending on the drive.
