Any Daz Studio Users in Iowa?

Greetings!

I am a brand-newbie both to CG and to Daz Studio. Learning this new software is pretty overwhelming to say the least, but I persevere one day at a time. Eventually, I hope to have something to render ;-)

Two questions really. First and foremost are there Daz Studio users in or around the Des Moines Iowa area that would have an interest in getting together to discuss Daz Studio and CG in general? I mean forums are great places to exchange information, but nothing takes the place of a face to face over a cup of coffee or a mug of ale. IMHO.

My second question: I just purchased the Millennium Environment - what do I call this? an add-on, kit? - Well anyway what I hope will become a backdrop or series of backdrops for my characters. Hey, for 5.00 how much can I lose, right? I did read the Read Me file (or web page to be more accurate), but I wonder if there is some kind of downloadable tutorial on how to apply this to my projects. Any one who can help a newbie out, your assistance will be greatly appreciated!

I do hope to discover a colony of Daz Studio artists here in Des Moines sometime soon!
