Have you created your Gallery yet, and added any images?
You will see that, having uploaded an image, when you click it to edit image you will have options to customise the thumbnail and add products and software used, plus add tags and give a brief description of the image if you want.
If you start typing in the name of a DAZ 3D store product you will find that you get a drop down list to select from, and clicking the correct one will create a hyperlink to the store product for you.
And what happens if some product is not from daz? Also if you use a product is not from daz u are automatically disqualified for the contest?
No you won't be disqualified, you can type in the product, it just won't have a hyperlink.
Are they still adding products? I found that some aren't present, like the great home breakfast nook
For entries to be qualified, I see the instructions state they have to have a full description and be tagged with a genre .
What is expected for a full description? The products used and the software it is rendered in and the title are already listed elsewhere. Just random comments relating to the render? I'm not sure what to put here.
Are there specific genres that are being looked for and I have to use that tag, or if I have no clue what genre a render fits in can I just make up my own tag and that still qualifies?
I would imagine that you would need to have filled in the store products and software part, then fully tagged on this screen, and yes you can also add your own categories as I have done here.
This shows up when you display the image as shown here http://www.daz3d.com/gallery/#images/1227
They may prefer you to add a bit of your work flow, so in this case I would say Figures prepped in poser then imported into Bryce as OBJ. Rendered in Bryce and PW to add some motion blur done in PS 7
Thank you folks for all your help, it is truly appreciated, I am impressed on how much help has been offered and as a newbie it is comforting.
