Problem with download manager - SOLVED?

Since a few days back, I've been having trouble using the download manager. Either it wants to go to a non-existing page in my account or it wants to upgrade itself, and then it crashes. What do I do? Should I uninstall the thing and re-download it? Or does anyone have another hint?

    Try acepting the EULA, that's probably why it wants to go to your account and it may enable the update once done. If not, yes try a manual download and install.

    It seems to be working now. I don't know what I did, but I could reach the content now after a lot of doodling.
