Clock_watchdog_Timeout...Crash windows 8.1

New machine quad core...3.8
16 gigs ram Kingston
2 gig Nvidia gt630

Crashed this computer more in a week then I did in years with my other Quad core...
Crashes in Daz Studio 4.6 and 4.6 beta and of course VUE11Complete...

This only seems to happen when I crank up the render settings.
Going to try in Zbrush4.6 next...

Found out on the internet could be a bad core or a Windows problem OHHHH and maybe a driver issue...
