addon/script/option to allow export texture layers be exported/extracted separated from the texture
ok, this is something i really don't know how complicated or hard to be done, but would be really great and helpfull, for peoples working outside daz and in some cases even inside (peoples which love to customize they details.
I measn a way where you could for exemple get a character which come with lipstick, with a full set of face paint, or eyebrows and others details which normally it is applied direct into the texture, making impossible to add that details to another characters, then would really be cool to have a way be able to have acess to each separated layer and be able or to to use that details in others characters inside daz or outside by exporting the layers as alphas textures or like hair type textures (the point is to have acess to the detail and use it outside it's original character), any sort of detail which is layered would be usable in any character, it would great increase the customization and allow peoples to do a lot of funny and crazy stuffs.

Layered Image Editor, and presets. Quite a few PAs already work that way - the downside is that layered images are slow to load.
I believe the OP means being able exract make-up from textures that have them painted directly on the base face texture. I have tried PaintShop Pro's difference function but unfortunately always end up with the make-up layer on a black background instead of transparent.
yeah, i want something which allow us to be able to instead of export the texture which already all details painted on it, a tool which would allow us to extract "each of that layer" apart from the main texture skin, like i saw a awesome make up on a character but instead of extract/export the full texture painted with the make up i would be able to extract only the make up and be able to use it in another character or mesh/skin, like a make up for "mika" character be able to be usable victoria and things like that, be able to do that outside daz, like when you see peoples releasing, tattoos and others "extra details layers" then a option where you are able to export that detail layers outside daz, to be able to use them in any character without need to extract a "full skin version with every detail
ok here a very basic and not well made exemple(the composition is not perfect but good enough to show what i means)
the body hair is being loaded as a sepparated texture but being applied to the main texture, almost like what happen in daz when you have layered textures, but the good side is having the right textures(alpha=Black&white and all others) you can "customize it" in this case i could customize it to have the color yellow but with small changes i can apply any color i want or add any effect, like emissive and others things, that could make any skin detail being usable in any skin, from eyebrows, to moles, to brushs, dirty, body and face hairs, tattoos basically any detail can be applied to any material as long it is not direct applied to the base texture and layered.
You don't need a script or shader LIE already can use masks. As I told you in the past all material/texture image files are in a standard image format and stored somewhere in the Runtime/Textures folders, exactly where can be found using the Surface pane.
