How to convert obj to DAZ prop

How can I save a model of a sword or shield I've modelled in Hexagon3D or Wings3D once it has been imported into DAZ Studio as an object?

I would like to convert it to a proper DAZ prop so I can categorize it in the content library.

Presently I have them in the content libraries "other import formats" but I would like to start converting them to the proper DAZ3D prop formats using the runtime directory of which I do have a very basic understanding of the structure of the directories..

Thanks kindly...

File>Save as>Support Asset>Figure/Prop asset. The author and product names will determine the names of the folders in the \Data folder that hold the actual asset data, you will be prompted to save a preset for loading the item which you should place in your content library so you can find it.
