To all those involved in this product
http://www.daz3d.com/new-releases/fwsa-wachiwi-and-aiyana-bundle
Thank you, Thank you, thank you!
The character shapes themselves look great, but that's only a part of my reason for purchasing the bundle.

The Skin textures provided here are invaluable, as they fill a massive hole in my Library concerning the lack of G2F's ethnic options,
the skins are not only good for native American characters, but are also sufficient for Latino, South & South east Asian characters.
its great to see any non-pale & non-Caucasian skin for G2F, but the balance is perfect for this particular one. Very useful indeed.

Thanks very much! :)

I agree whole heartedly! Too bad I can't afford it but the whole bundle looks fabulous!! So my wishlist has grown with the three items. :)

    Love, Jeanne

Will there be a male equivalent for G2M?

They good like really good characters but the way the bundles are organised is confusing.

As far as I can see the character bundle includes Wachiwa and Aiyana, the bundle with the clothes includes Wachiwa but not Aiyana, and Aiyana does not seem to be available seperatly. The clothes are not showing under new releases separate from the bundle but if you follow the link from the bundle they do come up as a separate item.

I think I'm going to buy something but I'll wait until it all becomes a bit more clear.

Thank you for the link. The link from the bundle product page doesn't work, probably just an error on the page.

I tried clicking the banner advert for "Restless Natives" and this shows a lot more than you get under new releases. The bundles do overlap and as far as I can see you can only get the Wachiwi Styles for the Genesis 2 String Bikini if you buy the Genesis 2 Female character, clothes and hair bundle, so I need to decide if I want the Genesis 1 and Vicky 4 Hair.

One final question. The Ayana promo picture shows her wearing a native style top that is not part of the Wachiwa's Finery clothes. Does anyone know if this is for sale or was it something they did just for the promo pic?

The V4 hair works well in Poser on V4. Not a good render as I don't usually render in poser.

So now Little white Dove has a new hair style, I just need to make her a headband to match her outfit

Hi all... thanks for your great comments on this set. It was something I wanted to do for a long time, so I am glad you all like it.

To answer a few questions, yes there will be a male equivalent for it, but very likely more towards early next year because of the work involved with it all.

And the top in Aiyana's promo you mentioned is the Sexy Top VI by 3D-Age at Rendo with the Sexy Top VI - MINNINNEWAH by Renapd also over at Rendo. They are both V4, but convert well to Genesis 2 as you can see ;)

any questions you have about this set, especially the characters, as I know them best, having done then, let me know.

When does the sale end? Also, I'm curious about which tribe her reference model is from.

Here is a quick render I did of Waschiwi and Aiyana together. I love the hair, the outfit and the characters.

I don't know when the big DAZ sale ends that they set up for us, probably only a few days, but the character, outfit etc... all should be for 14 days. the main bundle as far as I know only a week though.
as for the tribe... the name was a Dakota Sioux name, so I made sure I tried to get their shape as close as possible, the nose being a real important feature of course.

Not sure how accurate the textures are for Native Americans (I suspect there is wealth of diversity anyway across the various tribes), but they still hit the in-basket in a hurry!

Hrm well.. this render do consist of both Wachiwi and Dan (with Wachiwi skin I might add ;P) but since it is the girl in most ofcus here, I put it in here instead of the Dan thread :)

    Tenderness

    Story:

The horse neighed softly as it came over to her where she sat, patiently waiting for the stallion. She knew that her tribe considered that stallion just as wild and untamed as his owner, she glanced briefly towards the fire where the man sat. She noticed him looking at her and his horse for a moment before he gave her a ghost of a smile and focused on the fire again. She tenderly caressed the horse, murmured soft words to the proud being with a smile playing at her lips. Yes, her tribe considered both the stallion and his owner untamed and wild, yet with tenderness and patience she had managed to reach them both....

Loving that render Carola, and great way to get him to look right, just use her skin. good thinking there. hopefully it won't take us too long getting the male version of this done... but like I mentioned before, probably more towards early next year, like Jan or so.
    loving it though, great render!

Can anyone tell me if the hair has to have the band and the feather? I'd love to use that hair for modern style renders as well as I rarely do 'historical' renders.

Dang it Swam. I was "hoping" the answer was no so I wouldn't buy them. ;) I think that hair would look wonderful on a couple of Japanese characters I have!

lol. sorry about that. I always love it when things are very versatile, so I asked about things like the braids to be removable as well. ;)
that said, I agree, I think it would look fantastic on a Japanese character

I agree about versatility. I consider it a major bonus that the braids can be hidden as well. I could probably hide them simply by turning off the opacity in the surfaces but sometimes that doesn't look very good.

With the current $5 off coupon you can get everything except the bikini textures for $39.85

Edit: not coupon - the amount is automatically deduced (correctly - just checked).

:cheese: This is amazing! Thank you all you lovely PAs for these products! :)

I have to figure out how I will fare best ... I will probably go with everything for G2F, so I guess the large Wachiwi Bundle plus Wachiwi Hair Xtra plus Aiyana. Anyway, you made my day :) These products are sooo beautiful and desperately needed. Count me in on the G2M portion as well once they come out of course :)

I am also a bit confused on the bundles. It seems like the bikini option doesn't come with Wachiwi character or the Wachiwi and Alyana Bundle but comes with the Wachiwi Bundle. Love this character! Beautiful work by the PAs. This is definitely a nationality that is missing from my library.

These went into my cart immediately; they're downloading now. I've been needing something like this for a long time; I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for the male counterpart next year.
