Looking for props

Anyone know of 3D musical notes to work in DS4 or Bryce? How about cake or salad ingredients?

    Vindazi, What were you envisioning along the idea of musical notes. Might be able to whip up a few 3D symbols at lunch. Music notes could be a handy freebie for anyone. Please describe font style, type of notes like if a Treble clef or such, oh and material / texture - like metallic gold or what have you. What I would do is use Draw or Pagemaker to create the notes outline as a vector shape, toss into CAD type modeling program and extrude the front surface. Can bevel or round edges so its not necessarily square. Add a material and export as OBJ & 3DS (for print/cam) Probably can use Hexagon too.

    I want to add "music" to a scene. I am looking for whole, quarter, half and eighth notes and a way to make chords from them. They could be black, but ideally they could accept various shaders and textures available in DS4 or Bryce7. Lines with a treble clef would allow the formation of a tune. Whatever you could do to make it possible to curve and otherwise adjust the notes and lines, or the addition of other musical notation would give it wider application, but is not so critical. Does that help?

    Thanks but is there a tutorial for how to place these things so they show up and can be used in DS4?

    Copy the runtime folder from the zip to the one on your hard-drive in the library folder(where daz content is saved). When it asks do you want to overwrite just say yes. It will just add the files and not delete your previous content. Then open Daz, Under content go to the runtime and under props you will see the music notes.

    I used a Musical Notation font and a 3D modeling tool to create 3D text. Basically you notes on all bars so you can position in one axis to adjust as needed for the melody. Bottom of this page is a pic and download link. http://farmpeeps.com/products_3d_farm_props.html
