Crinkly joints when I Pose Genesis / Genesis 2.

Hi Folks,

When I pose Gensesis / Genesis 2 the Joints distort whilst I am moving a limb or posing etc, then snap back to the proper shape once I stop moving the limb..

Is there a setting that I need to enable to stop this from happening, as it makes posing the figure quite difficult as you cannot judge intersections of other figues or props very accurately..

Just to add I am running the very latest Release of Studio.

Cheers,

S.K.

There used to be a setting for the viewport, but I can't find it.

In the meantime, if you go to Window > Panes (Tabs) > Tool Settings, and then find During Manipulation: you will see SubDivision. If you change it to 'Persistent (On)', that will keep the viewport the same all through posing or moving limbs. I don't know what effect that will have on your general performance, but it works OK for me with only one Genesis in the Scene. You may need to set it back to 'Delayed (Off)' if it cuases problems with larger scenes.

    Thank you, JimmyC_2009

I will have a look in the location you suggested and give it a try.

That is one of the Tool Settings but I'm not sure which one. I have turned it off on my set up and I'm at a loss which one it was I turned off.
