Does this product speed up G3 to G2 skins into Carrara?

This DS only product is on sale today and I always wondered if it can be used to speed up G3/V7 to G2/V6 skins in Carrara? By using DS as a preparation/conversion tool. Any ideas? Genesis 3 UVs for Genesis 2 Female(s): https://www.daz3d.com/genesis-3-uvs-for-genesis-2-female-s For example some new Iray skins with Philemos plugins.

no because it uses Geografts and Carrara has UV mapping broken by geografts

you can only do the bits not geografted as the vertex count and surfaces don't match on the geografts

I did try it

basically your collars and thighs need to be covered

I do have some of the ones for Genesis 3 and 8

with those if fully clothed can leave off the geografts and save as a UV set for Misty's characters

cannot be bothered buying this one even at 299c

Google found 2 tutorials that maybe will get the job done, but one was a UV app and another included Blender, so a lot of work... Probably faster to make your own skin.

For redoing skins

I use Ultimate Unwrap 3D repaint

you can also use a pared down version of Blacksmith 3D at Renderosity that just does this

unfortunately as these are offsite commercial products there is not much information I can link
