Noob question: Whats an unimesh?

I don't really understand what it is. Is it just a collection of textures for the clothing?

Unimesh refers to the practice of issuing an entire line of figures with identical or almost-identical (V3/M3/D3/SP3/F3) geometry in a reworked shape. David3 and Hiro3 could take most V3 morphs, but not all. Mike3 and The Freak (F3) were completely morph-compatible. In the fourth generation, any V4, M4, or K4 morph target can be applied to any of the others: you just have to compensate for the difference, if any, between the original figure the morph was drawn from and the one to whom you are applying. Genesis takes it one step further, in providing every morph and body-type on one roughly androgynous base. Gen2 figures are sex-differentiated again, but as with M4/V4, they are completely mesh-compatible.

If you're asking about the items in the store labeled "Unimesh Fits for XXX", those are expansions for clothing for the 4th Generation figures. The clothing generally includes morphs like morphs++; the Unimesh Fits adds the morphs for things like Aiko4, Hiro4, etc. Some of the Unimesh add-ons also include new textures, some just the morph support.
