Would really like up todate info on DazStudio 4.6

Hi all, I'm very new to this very exciting world of 3D and till now did this with a paint brush. A friend of mine turned me on to this version
even though he is still using Daz 3. He has no idea how the the Pro works so I can't ask his advise for this.
I run Win 7 with more than enough specs across the board to run this on a desktop. He turned me on to some free sites like ShareCG
but DIM doesn't recognise these other site products. I have only been in this for a few weeks but half of that has been searching for a
way to install 3rd party content into 4.6 and all I can find is 4.5 or older which is different because it looks nothing like the video tutorials.
Can anyone out there help me cause I live away out in the countryside in Canada I really want to do this on all these cold winter nights :)

Content from third party sites is installed the same way for any version of DAZ Studio. The content folders are universal but the Genesis content can only be used in the DAZ Studio 4+ versions. I have my DAZ Studio 3 pointed at my full content folder and it works fine as long as I do not try to load DS4+ content.
Only DAZ 3D content will be SMART content that you can find in the Smart Content Tab. If installed properly all other content can be found using the Content Library Tab. Most third party content is POSER format so Try finding properly Installed content in...
Content Library Tab>Poser Formats>My DAZ 3D Library> Figures, Props and other sections.
