Dreamlight

Not quite DAZ's turf but has anyone had any problems with them? Was corresponding with support via email and as soon as I mentioned needing a refund she stopped communication. I thought it was 60 but it's apparently 30 days where today is the last day for refunds.

OTOH, I signed up for the model master series of vids. My problem isn't the vids, but a poor connection. It's not about time as I can deal with that. It's that I keep getting disconnected from their server. The downloads simply stop after so much time. This happens with both streams and downloading.

Besides dishing out more for speed etc., is there anything I can do to just ensure a (!%$#@!) Complete download of those files?

    Greetings,
Hit up a coffee shop, or someplace with free internet at a point in the day when there's not many people there?

You could try a download resumer, there are a few out there, but be careful many of them come with...questionable extras.

Yeah, too bad about those extras which inevitably mess your system up even more. For the second time I get, "Thank you for contacting us. This is an automated response confirming the receipt of your ticket." But they haven't actually replied. Perhaps they are under threat from Fukushima fallout......

I believe that the monetary issues with Dreamlight are handled by someone different than the technical issues. And, sadly, that person is pretty slow to respond.

At least that was the case when I had similar problems. Usually they do get sorted out, just takes a lot of patience.

Have you tried posting in Dreamlight's forums? One of the mods over there might be able to highlight your issue to the relevant party. I believe one of his mods also posts here.

Yes, that would be me. I'm the Global Forum Moderator on the Dreamlight Club Forums.

Kzerial, if you're not a member of the DLC Forums, could you PM me here with any information (support ticket number, contact's name), so I can try getting in touch with her and see what's going on? Hopefully we can get this resolved sooner, rather than later.

It's been over three weeks since I put in a refund request. I got back an email challenging me as to why I wanted a refund after only a few days, but after I replied to that I have been completely ignored.

I am saddened by this incompetent customer service. I wasn't big into the tutorials, but the guy who made them seemed like a nice guy.
