    I know this is an old thread but I just saw this and thought it looked really neat!

    I have a question about the sparks. Are they a texture/sprite that has a viewing angle to get the best look or are the sparks/snow/dust particles actually scattered in 3d? I have a project that needs particles suspended in air that can be looked at in different directions but they must retain their positions and a texture wouldn't be able to accomplish this.

    Hi jd641.
    The My Iray FX product has all the 3D effects with morphs to change the movements and shapes.
    The effects can also be rotated, increased or decreased.
