He just wanted to make farming equipment, but made weapons to defend his country.

How did you make the gun that badly so it is firing even though she doesn't even touch the trigger?

Yeah, it's quite funny, he got worldwide fame for lifting the German MP44 and turning it into the AK47 but never got paid for it... Eugene Stoner made millions out of the AR-10 concept (AR-15, M16 etc) but is not a household name.

...bury an AK 47 in the dirt for a decade, dig it up, and it will still fire.

    The man was a genius.

Simple elegant, durable. Just like Russian rockets.

Must have used the cheap Chinese copy...those things can fire, if you look at them wrong...

    Quoting 'Lord of War' movie...

"Avtomat Kalashnikova, model of 1947, more commonly known as the AK-47... or kalashnikov. It's the world's most popular assault rifle,
a weapon all fighters love. An elegantly simple nine-pound amalgamation of forged steel and plywood.
It doesn't break, jam, or overheat. It will shoot whether it's covered in mud or filled with sand.
It's so easy, even a child can use it and they do.
The Soviets put the gun on a coin. Mozambique put it on their flag."

When the ammo is exhausted, my katana will still be deadly. :-D

Kate, Barrett or H&K PSG1? I also prefer a 10mm to a 9mm in small arms. Much better stopping power.

One could argue that he had a greater impact on bolstering the spirit of the disenfranchised than even Nelson Mandela.
Do you think the worlds learders will gather to his funeral - doubt it!

50 Cal I'd go with the Barret M107A1
.308 I'd stick with the standard Remington M-24

When the ammo is exhausted, my katana will still be deadly.

Both will perforate the human body very efficiently. Katana will only be deadly if the body holding it isn't already full of holes. D'oh!

I noticed that too; her right thumb is through the trigger guard and even pokes through her left hand at one point. Ouch! But what I REALLY want to know is what is she saying? It seems that she's having quite the selfie conversation!

Didn't someone once say something about telling the poor "Be warm and well fed," without lifting a finger to help (not that Mandela didn't, but how much of his fan-club does?), and how much good that charity does? And isn't his Brother's birthday coming up?

    Merry Christ-mass, everyone! Veni Emanuel.

I didn't say that the katana was the only weapon, just that it never runs out of ammo. :-) In any case, katana aren't for poking holes in a body, but for opening them up. ;-)

I doubt you'd have a chance against an AK-74 armed private after 2 months long "uchebka" with your katana unless you are trained to throw katana as a spear. Anyway, don't forget that AK may be equipped with a bayonet. In trained hands it is a deadly assembly.
