I'm currently working on an addon pack for my Bio Squad characters. It will include redesign helmets and a few tweaks to widen the usefulness of the sets. And it will be really cheap to.

I really like this set. I have a question. Is there a morph or 'no shoulder cannon option to make the biosquad blaster suit look like just a alien bodysuit? I think it woudl make a really cool alien bodysuit and there are times when the cannons might not look right.

Do you have any tips for lighting the blaster effects. So far, what I have tried makes the core look flat and over exposed.

In the surfaces Tab, you can play with the Ambient Strength and Opacity Strength. You might also render it by itself and add it back to your image in Photoshop or any compositing package if you're using one that is.

There is no option right now to load Blaster without the mouth canons, I wish I thought about that when I was making it but I didn't, shame on me. But I will fix this issue pretty soon with an addon pack for both Bio Squad Characters.

I am so glad! I was checking out the parts of the bioblaster suit, and they look good as alien armor of organic variety. You can add them nicely over a bodysuit for a different look (or not) I am glad you'll make an option without the cannons, because, the outfit has a potential to look hmm. Shall I say rather hot as a body suit without the cannons?

One thing I was messing around with the suit, and you know it looks quite close to being cybernetic. I would love a set with cybernetic parts like your legs and arm pieces made of metal. They are so close as to be useful as bio-organics as they are.

Anyway, thanks for the tip. I'll mess around with the settings for the balster effects later.

I was having fun pairing them with a regular weapon for a different combination look. =-)

I'm glad to hear you are making an add-on pack that will modify the suits and give them even more versatility...looking forward to this with great anticipation. :-)

Good to know. The energy blast effects, puke spray thing, etc, would be useful as stand alones. ;)

Excellent product! Keep up the great work. ;)

Really liking the Bio-Squad Blaster, I have a couple of renders in the March Madness render thread but here's a little something I just put together on a somewhat more extreme Genesis shape.

That's really cool. I haven't had any time to play with the Blaster yet. Maybe tonight.
