Genesis Figures installed but do not load

edited December 1969 in Daz Studio Discussion

I've scoured the internet but can't seem to find anything specific to relate the problem I have.

I've downloaded and installed the Genesis figures and the essential starter kits. These show up in Daz as clickable.

I double click to load the figure in, a window pops up, loading content, just like with everything else, acts as though the content is loaded, then disappears.

Problem is, nothing actually loads. No figure is present, but Daz seems to think that it's done its job.

Has anyone else had this issue before? Is there a way to fix it or install around the content manager?

I assume that you can see the icon for Genesis in the "Content" pane, but not in the scene? Do you see Genesis in the "scene" tab?

Did you see any error messages? I haven't seen this issue before. Hopefully someone with more experience might be able to help.

I helped someone with a similar issue the other day. They were loading the Victoria 6 HD Add-On. Problem is, that is an add-on product which requires Victoria 6 to work properly. You're not doing the same thing, are you?

Everything shows up in content but nothing loads, so when I click on scene, there's nothing there. No error messages, it acts as though everything has loaded perfectly.

And no, I'm not trying to do add ons or morphs, I'm trying to load the base Genesis figure or genesis 2 even the male versions, it just simply doesn't load them. everything's installed through content manager, and appears to be in the correct folders, they just don't show up in the scene.

Can you post these 2 screenshots: .
    1) In DS, Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager, expand the "DAZ Studio Formats" and "Poser Formats"
    2) In DIM, on Ready to Install tab check the "Show Details" box in the lower right
