Really messed up content settings
Hello,
I recently bought the Olympia 6 Pro Bundle, and the Genesis Female morphs bundle, and installed them through the daz installer.
I had previously messed up my content folder, I accidentally used several old installers, and manually installed some stuff, which made things worse... I then tried changing the content directory, because somehow my computer had created a "my documents" folder in the XP style, when it already had the Win7 "documents" folder that was supposed to exist.
Everything else works, but none of my new content works at all... I tried opening Olympia 6, and I got errors stating that all her textures and files were missing. I looked through my folders, and none of her content is even there.
How can I fix this? I'm using Daz Studio 4.6.
Thanks,
Kingfisher13
EDIT: I reinstalled Daz Studio, deleted all my content, removed all my folders, and reinstalled everything. I tried running Olympia 6, and it gave me several errors, saying it's missing several morph files:
PBMNavel.dsf
Genesis2female.dsf
CNTRLOlympia.dsf
The female morphs, genesis 2, and Olympia are all properly installed, there shouldn't be any problems... I've heard other people have had problems with Olympia 6 not working, can anyone help me fix this?

Can you load the basic Genesis 2 Female? If you are using the Content Library, where is the Olympia 6 file? If you use Smart Content, right-click on the Olympia 6 file, select Show in Content Library, and then tell me where it is appearing - the full sequence of folders from DAZ Studio Formats on.
Hey, thanks for all the help, I got it all figured out. I deleted all my content, rebuilt my content library, and got everything working. Apparently I had missed some files during installation, and had screwed up my content directory.
If one wanted to command content manager to rescan and rebuild the library after DS was reinstalled in a different location, what would be the steps to accomplish that?
That is not as good as just POINTING DAZ Studio to the content folders in the Prefs. The Built in SCAN for content folders can and will flag any temp UNzip folders you might have on your Drives that hold DAZ Studio or Poser content as a valid path. I always hand set up my content paths for that very reason.
If you need to rebuild the CMS Database that is built into the Content DB Maintenance Menu in the Mini Menu for the Smart Tab or the Content Library Tab.
Hey,
I did try rebuilding but the content would never show up. Resorted to uninstalling everything and killing preferences in install manager and content manager. Hoping that fixes it.
Did you CHECK that the CMS was running, and Stays running AFTER you open DAZ Studio?
