Hello i just purchased poser 10 and I'm trying to transfer my daz content over to poser. However, it is not showing up content library in poser the DSON is installed in poser under scripts, but the content showing up. I've read the instruction for installing the starter essentials, but it seem alittle out of date because there is no installer for it but a zip file. That leaves me confused on how to install starter essential.

Install the PoserCFs to whatever content directory you use for Poser - \Smith Micro\Poser 10 Content in your Public Documents as I recall.

Point Poser to your DAZ Srtudio content directory with the core DSON files.

Thank you for responding, I have done what you said to install the content in the poser content library which was in my public documents. And the content is showing up in poser, however the daz content is not loading in poser, and messages appear saying that there are missing files; also I tried point poser to the daz library, but it seem to revert back the pointing at the poser library, which I accidentally selected first, at least i think I did. One more thing when i tried to install the DSON from the installer manager it kept saying it could find that right path to poser 10, and I wasn't sure to alter the path because I didn't want to mess the everything up.

Make sure DSON is installed to the main Poser folder in the Program Folder

Are you installing the 32 bit or 64 bit version of the DSON Importer for Poser? The bit version of the DSON Importer Must match the Bit version of your Poser installation. From the looks of it, you need the 32 bit version of the DSON Importer.

The installer in the picture was the 32-bit installer I doubled checked.

I know the DSON is installed to the Program file(x86) to poser in and the DSON plugin is in the script tab from there what do have to do to import the genesis starter essential. Do I use the importer preferences to point it to poser to one of the content folders?

Hey I'm still having problems with DSON importer and I'm positive that I have installed the program in the right location. The models will not load into Poser, what am I suppose to do after I install the DSON in poser ?

So you installed the importer, plus the PoserCF and the DSON Core files for each product? And your \Data folder is in the same folder as your actual Runtime folder?
