how to open Genesis' mouth? (Solved)

starionwolfstarionwolf Posts: 3,670

I'm stumped. How do I open Genesis' mouth and lips? I don't see any morphs or pose controls for the mouth or visemes.

I am using Daz Studio 4.6 and I have Genesis head morphs installed. Do I need to buy something extra or reinstall Genesis starter essentials?

Edit: I can't find the smile morph any more. I think there used to be one somewhere in the parameters pane somewhere.

    Select the MOUTH section about 4 or 5 below what you have selected at this time.

    EDIT Expressions list by Selecting the Genesis HEAD only then the below..
    EDIT again the Mouth Controls are in that section as well, not in the First one, so Select the HEAD only then open to the Mouth to open and smile and more...

    ahh.. I need to select the head. Thanks. I guess I was so used to selecting Genesis -> Actor to adjust his/her other morphs. For a moment I thought my runtime library was corrupted again.

    yes, I know this is an old thread but I want to thank you for the answers again. I forgot to select Genesis' head again. :red: I love the screenshot too.

    I'm just trying to get her mouth open in a simple O' trying to make a figure, Arms Raised, who looks like she is singing to greet the Dawn; arms up head back a lil;
    The fear pose opens her mouth but over exposes the teeth; is there a simple way to just get the lips to move with the lower jaw; I can see it's Axes markers they move; can even see a set of virtual teeth; but her mouth remains locked; except when I use these exaggerated expressions.

    Try the Visemes, alone, in combo's and even mixed with expressions...
