Why does a female Death Knight scare me more than a male one?

In which case you need to make her a set of Death Knight armour so she doesn't feel scorned.

Tsk, you can't expect a self-respecting female to buy or wear something called Death Knight ... you;d have to badge it properly, something like "Valandar's Fluffy Respiratory-Challenged Handbag and Accesories" ;)

Well this female would shy well clear of anything that was described as fluffy, Self respecting female sodyers don't like fluffy, well not for their working gear anyway. Frilly, yes, fluffy, NO. Think something like Elaine's personal guards in WOT. Frills and lace, but no fluff.

I plead the defence of being male and hence not having a clue how the female mind works, even if they write down in very small words what they mean ;)

LOL, and I am female, heterosexual and used to frequently wear uniform and masquerade as a male on the battlefield (ACW though, not Knights) and then change to a crinolined dress for the evening. :coolsmirk:

Depends on how furtive, secretive, underhand and sneaky she's feeling? Which basically means all the time ... ;)

Dunno about that. Death Knights, at least in AD&D, were Paladins and the like who fell and betrayed everything they stood for, and were cursed into Undeath. They tend to be hate-filled, evil monstrosities with tremendous amounts of raw physical and magical power, and very little in the way of subtlety. A 20d6 fireball in an age when they maxed out for mortals at only 10d6 tends to create that sort of attitude. :P
