Hi!

I need specifik help with information of how I can export an OBJ-sequense from DAZ Studio.

None of the web tutorials are enough specifik of how to make this work.

Anyone who have exported OBJ-sequenses from DAZ Studio and knows how to do it?

The softwares I want to open the sequense in are Lightwave and Element 3D!

Jack

Hmm. I was about to say, "no worries, simple as can be." So I go about setting up an example and then I realise I don't actually know how to do it with DAZ Studio! I assume it is possible and that the function is there somewhere.

    Edit: just found mcjTeleBlender https://sites.google.com/site/mcasualsdazscripts/mcjteleblender-for-ds1-2-3-4
As the name suggests, it exports to Blender, but it might be a viable work around for you as I assume re exporting the sequence is much easier from Blender. Or perhaps you don't need Blender at all.

    Hi!

I´ve already saw that link but you guessed right and even if some parts of Blender looks great I am no Blender fan at all, mostly because it´s render engine are dead slow and that the interface is a mess even for creating easy stuff.

The latest I heard was that Poser 2014 had excellent functions for the export of animated characters to lightwave compared with DAZ dysfunctional methods. Don´t know if this is true but since there are so little information of how to do this from DAZ I guess it is because DAZ cannot do it in an easy customer friendly way.

But it is said that the hope is the last thing that leaves a human so I am still opening for solutions and suggestions if there is anyone with enough skills to explain the way to success when trying to export OBJ-sequenses into Lightwave!
