Thank you to everyone who participated in our snowball of savings event. It's been one of the most successful sales of the year!!! December 31st is the last day of the sale, and the last day of the year so we thought we'd end it with a bang.
For New Year's Eve only everyone gets an additional 10% added to their snowball discount. If you earned a 20% discount, then you'll get 30% off, if you earned 30% off, then you'll get 40% on up to 60% off for those who reached the highest tier. Even if you didn't earn a discount you'll still receive 10% off of all qualifying items.
A lot of great items released this month as well, over 250 by my count. All of those items are back on their intro 30% off. So if you missed an item, today is a great day to pick it up.
We've had a great year here at DAZ thanks to our wonderful customers, community members, and PA's. We'd like to thank you all for your wonderful support and wish you all a safe and Happy New Year!!

You forgot to mention that for the re-introduced Snowball items, you can't use the snowball discount, so they stay at their "new" discount. :-)

Yeah, which pretty much negates any desire to pick the items up.
Just so I don't sound like a complete whiner, the "Best of" items at 45% off do benefit from the Snowball discount. That means I can grab the MECH 2012 Enforcer finally.

So, stuff I recently passed up at its intro-discount plus Snowball discount I can now get for its intro discount plus . . . nothing. :-/ Yeah, thanks DAZ, great finale. That having been said, these have been exceptionally good discounts even given the fact that practically everything in the store hits at least one 50%-off sale per year -- much appreciated, as evidenced by my third month in a row of serious over-spending.

Exclusions = Gift Cards, Platinum Club Membership, products by Reallusion Animation & any new releases not currently shown on the Snowball of Savings page.

Then what does "not" in an exclusion clause mean? This would suggest the discount does apply.
As per the terms of the original snowball sale items were only eligible for snowball discount for two days. Intro sale price was the normal 30% off, I didn't feel the need to clarify. But you are correct, new items for December will not work with the Snowball discount. They also won't give you a snowball for your meter. The only exception is today's new item and the featured snowball items from yesterday. This rewards those who followed the sale and purchased new items during their snowball introduction. If you missed an item you can still save 30%, but you won't be rewarded as much as those who purchased it the day it was released, or the day after.

Yes the discount applies if it is on the Snowball page. If it is NOT on the snowball page then it is excluded. Take a look at the snowball page, none of December's new releases with the exception of today's and yesterdays are on there. If it is NOT on the snowball page then it is excluded from the snowball discount.
I didn't click deep enough, thought the main final December sale page was the snowball sale page. Clicking the banner I now realize snowball collecting was still active.
I do not see anywhere on the website how long the discount will be good for so does anyone have an idea how long we can use our final discount? Mine is 40%, however I would like to hold off using it for a day or so...

Yeah, I found that a weird 'finale', too. Didn't buy anything and spent what I had left somewhere else.
The 'best of' sale was nice, though, although it turned out I already had most of it. Which isn't a good sign for my buying habits, probably :D

Today's Sale Banner "50% off DAZ Originals'" omitted a key word: "these" because clearly there are many more DAZ Originals still categorized as new releases that are NOT covered by the 50% off sale.
Messages like this mislead and disapoint rather than lure and capture a sale.
