Glad I found this thread: I was able to make the fuzzy dragon I've been wanting to do for years!

Quick question: is there a way to adjust the fur like it's being blown in the wind?  If so, would that be under the "surfaces" tab, or maybe under "simulation settings" (dForce)?

For best results, hide the Base Fur and whiskers while simulating. (They can cause some collision)

Also you want to set Shape Constraints to 0 and Self Collision to 0 to get it to really simulate well, then place a wind node.

Note that simulating can be fussy and sometimes you get crashes when rendering.

Darn, that's one of the effects I've wanted to get for years, but I've so far been unable to even test render the standard Furo, as Daz keeps crashing whenever I try. Any suggestions or should I just wait for a more stable Studio release?

‘Come down now! There’s food in your dish! Don’t you yell at me, there totally is!’

I’m nervous making stuff that’s totally realistic.

Even as a little kid, my mom would ask ‘why do you only draw monsters?’

And I’d say ‘nobody can tell you it’s wrong’

That's the same reason I love doing costuming.  Fashion - too many "experts", costumes - what I say is right - yeah - that's what I intended!

"Draco" is latin for "dragon". The last part, @Oso3d explained in the first post...

And because nothing is better than having to explain a joke:

Mustela putorius furo is the scientific name for ferrets, one inspiration for this critter. Furo is Latin for ‘thief’.

I hope people enjoy these cuties.
