lipsync dmc configuration file editing without mimic

I have a number of Poser figures that crash mimic pro
up until now never tried it
but YOU CAN EDIT THE Default .dmc file in notepad
you need to know the morph names and substitute the exact names for those in the default mimic configuration file
capital and lower case count so be exact
if you have no phoneme use open mouth

    Happy New Year Wendy!

    Can you please advise how to create a dmc file? I tried modifying an existing file as per your suggestion using notepad, but when saving the file it's saved as a txt file even though the extension is still dmc, mimic won't read it.

    save as ALL FILES not txt and ANSI

    As well as ALL FILES, should the encoding be set to unicode or unicode big endian or UTF-8 ?

    Unfortunately, when I saved it as all files and ANSI it still displays as a text file.

    you do have file extensions visible? and are saving it as file name.dmc

    It was. Interestingly, when I just save and not save as it works as you suggested. So as long as I don't attempt to rename a new edition, the extension maintains its integrity. Thanks again Wendy.

    got your PM, I do not do emails to just anyone
    but could not reply you have a duplicate username with somebody
    I do not know how to do xml files for Poser

    I do believe taiuri was ,
    I have a draft message to this name exact request I could not send
    basically same thing I said in thread, I do not know how to do Poser XML files
