Haha I've had this pu truck in my runtime for ages, never noticed it has no wipers until nowsurprise It kind of looks like a girl without brows.

Got this BSA motorcycle over at Turbo Squid also. Free.

A furniture restorer 3 doors down from us has got one. He bought it as a heap of bits and now runs it. He taught himself brazing while restoring it, and I taught him a bit about using his 1897 vintage metalworking lathe for machining up bits he couldn't find.

    Regards,

    Richard.

Iray vs IBLM (same scene, as close as I can get it..

IBLM - 8 minutes to render

    Iray - 3 minutes 28 seocnds to 95% convergence

Tks for sharing, very interesting!! Definitely like the IBLM one better (surprisinglycheeky). Infact some of the metal parts look much better IMO.

Thanks Svne.. I agree, and the Iray materials are native Iray, not converted 3dl...  Not giving up on 3dl anytime soon

I was lucky that mcj (thanks!) made this model of a 1941 Chevy Master Deluxe. I had a project car of this same model to restore but I had to sell it when my third child was born. I made some changes to the materials to add a metallic burgundy color, chrome, and tinted windows. Now I just need to make some flames.wink

Latest.. 1931 Rudge -model was on Grabcad, By the time I converted the STEP file to .obj, the model was just over 2GB.. Why? The modeller  inclued everything . gearbox has ful internals, as does the motor... and the number of bolts, all individually modelled... Fantastic model, but a real pain to render in DAZ..  Rendered in 3DL.. (and yes its red, I know most Rudge were black, but their Ulster model was often red, so a bit of creative license..)

Wow, sounds like a tedious job!  And probably took a while to load and manipulate in Studio.  Nice work!

Got a few more freebies to post. Old VW. I put a 1966 license plate on it. That orange was a standard color for the year.

I really love the color of this 2001 PTCruiser. Chrysler sure sold a lot of them but then we found out they are not built so well. The used car lots are full of them now. Still nice looking car.

I think of Steve McQueen when I look at this 1966 Mustang. I chose the color to mimic the "Bullitt" car. Great movie!
