Still having hair parenting problems

I have a scene with 2 items; V4.2 and Kione hair. I used the parent to V4 window option on the hair and it fits perfectly. When I try to pose the figure the hair remains in the default position. If I try to right click and parent the hair disappears. Same thing happens if I try to use the scene tab and drag and drop, the hair disappears. Any suggestions are welcome.

    Kione is figure hair - it should be fitted to Victoria 4, not parented. If you do need to parent hair (because it's prop type hair, or because you are using it with a figure it wasn't made for) then you should generally parent it to the figure's head, not to the figure itself, as it's the head it needs to follow.
