Using Daz for my Ebook covers and need 81/2 x 11

Hi everyone and Happy New Year!
I am a writer and I am using Daz to create my ebooks covers. I need to know how to make the renders into portrait orientation and if it is possible to make the renders 81/2 x 11 for my covers. Also, is it possible to save the renders as jpegs right out of the render area???This sure would save me a lot of time and a headache or two...lol

Hey, thanks to all of you good folks who take the time to help! Have a fun filled, happy, love filled day!

    Simply put, yes and yes!
In the render settings dialg (Ctrl-R) either specify a render size/ratio that fits, or selct custom and enter the X and Y dimensions manually. If you turn on the visiblity of the render size in the viewport (it's one of the options on the viewport pop-up menu in the top right) you'll be able to see the framing you'll get with the camera.
You can save the rendered image as .tif, .jpg, .bmp or .png.

Also, note that a render size of "8 1/2 x 11" is gibberish to D|S. It doesn't understand inches, it measures render size in pixels. Multiply the inches size by the "pixels per inch" resolution you want to use, and plug those numbers into the Render Settings dialog.
