V4 torso deformation when injecting body morphs, Question.

In Studio 4.6, (several versions including .39)

I've recently started having problems when injecting body morphs by other venders. Have downloaded and installed new v4.2 base & morphs++ with no change in the problem.

The body morphs apply correctly, except the ribcage area of the torso, which injects too small. In other words, the entire upper torso, not including shoulders front or back, shows up recessed in front and back and at the shoulders.

I've purchased very many products in recent months, and installed Daz products like Girl 4, Stephanie 4, etc, and it's hard to say when this issue started, or after what product install.

Basically, it seems V4 is not actually zeroed. There are FBM's already parametered, and they seem to be screwing up the morphs. When I REM the morph, zero those FBM's myself (definition, voluptuous, thin, fitness, and young) in the "partial morphs" parameters area, then the vender morph applies correctly, though not in every case.

I have tried zeroing V4, and get what seems an odd change, in that the feet end up pointing down at about 45 degrees after zeroing. that may be normal; I've never had to try zeroing V4 before. Some of of what I'm seeing seeing shows up in Hidden Nodes, and I've reinstalled base and ++ several times with no improvement.

Has anyone else seen these odd morph behaviors and have ideas about how to resolve this?

The feet do point down in the zero pose, so that's right - it's one of the factors making shoes hard to AutoFit to Genesis. Have you tried using Restore rather than Zero? Are you loading the original Victoria 4 cr2 file or a saved scene?

    Thanks, Richard,

It's the original Cr2 from a fresh download. No, I haven't tried Restore, but will.

Update: Restore works; doesn't solve whatever wierdness is going on but it does "zero" V4 back.

Still getting those strange deformations. Learned something in the process about "hidden nodes" and how useful it can be to un-hide them, and look behind the scenes at what specific morphs are active in a given scene/figure; a lot more than I knew.

Being able to manipulate them adds a level of control I didn't have before.
