Extended Nails for Genesis problem

I'm having a problem, shown in the attachment. The skin around the nails is white. I can't seem to apply any texture to it in surfaces. I can select 'Skinhand' and change it's diffuse color to whatever.. but obviously that's not a solution.
I'll admit I'm pretty new to this, but I've tried everything I know to get that area skin colored. Anyone know the trick?
The nails look good, just wish i could get the skin working. Thanks for any help!

Is that a Genesis figure texture or an older V4 one, or for some other character? It looks like the UVmapping for the texture isn't matching what the UVmapping for Genesis is set to — this will probably not be the only texture glitch on the figure. The problem is, Genesis has an extra materials parameter to set the UV selection, but older texture sets won't have this materials parameter. This usually causes mismatched seams all over the figure.
Thanks for the reply. That is V5 in the render. It's amazing how bad it looks in a 600x375 render. Ha. Just trying to keep the file size down.
The same thing happens with Basic Female, A5 and M5. Textures on all figures are otherwise perfectly seamless and problem free. The nails won't apply to V4.2 or G2 basic - only Genesis (1) figures. I've tried many different full body materials with the same result.. :-\
The mesh seems to line up perfectly with the fingers.. but I'm terrible with uv mapping so haven't even tried to look at that in hexagon yet.
Here's Michael 5 with pretty pretty nails and good skin, but white textureless fingertips. I can also apply say - a black vinyl shader to all skin parts including fingers and nails, and.. the white fingertips are still there.
I would be interested to hear if anyone has them working properly.
The readme explains how to apply the skin texture the nails: http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/read_me/index/17643/start
