Any old school daz people out there I'm still using daz Studio_2.3.3.146. I have to old machine. I had to do a system re-install and re-install daz. here's the deal I got all the morph+++ files and all morphs.but if you remember back in the day there was a file..a bat file to make them work.well i don't have that bat file...is it still able to download it?

didn't see a bat file in my account - are you talking about the power loader ?
any way check your account .
C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library\Runtime\Libraries\!DAZ (or where you have V4 installed)
and run the file called DzCreateExPFiles-V4.bat to initialise V4, then it should work.
thank you I do that
Looks like this is a bit of a glitch with the new DIM system. The .bat file is still in the same place it's always been, what we don't get with the DIM is the shortcut placed on the desktop by the installer, and that calls up the .bat file. And considering how many ways there are to define a desktop folder location (in OSX, Win8, Win7, Vista and XP for those who still use them) it's not something that can be included in a DIM .zip file. I don't think there's any way around this, unless it's possible to patch something into DIM to detect and run one of those .bat files whenever it's installed.
Thanks spottedkitty. Got it done..I went to storage and dug out my old disks..years ago i bought a set of disks from the daz store(all my past downloads and stuff i bought) and shazam there was the update files for the desktop.and now all the morphs are working..Whooo Hooo..lol yeah that install manager.don't seem to work with the old versions of daz..heck on the disks..i even have daz v.1.8
hey "bigh" years ago daz gave you a file on your desktop to initialize all the figures .but the new bat files don't work with older version of daz
happy it worked out for you .
thanks yeah the files were called "update v4,m4,k4
They all still work but they don't put the shortcut on the desktop to them. If you install with DIM, DIM executes the batch files.
DIM will run the batch files if CMS is running right, since this can be a big IF for many people it is best just know where they are and run them manually.
AFAIK DIM will run them even if CMS isn't running.
thanks" fixmypcmike" i'll give it a try
