Chohole probably your better muse
But
I suggested loading it into another software first and exporting from thaf in case Bryce sees some Carrara features other programs don't
and to check you are exporting it with morphs and skinning not base mesh
Must be something on my Carrara export. Morph doesn't show when obj imported to Hexagon or Studio. Hmmm.
Anyway, thanks for the reply here and in the Bryce forum.
Try DAZ Studio morph target in the settings
or export under morph target in the vertex room
I know zilch about DS, not much more about Carrara, I can render stuff that is already set up is about all. I export my objs from Poser.and even that is an old version. (Poser 7)
Bryce has figure posing ?
thought was static props.
Thanks, Pam. Maybe I can export some format to Poser and then to Bryce.
correct, just static props. I am trying to convert my Carrara “Planet if the Apes dude” to an obj for use in Bryce. Their theme this month is related to madness, and I thought I could reprise the Planet of the Apes scene in which Heston is in a cage being sprayed with a firehose by the ape assistant. Heston yells, “It’s a madhouse! A madhouse!”
Might just need need to go to plan B
Nope I used to morph, clothe and pose the figures in Poser and then export an obj to import into Bryce.
Okay. thanks.
was like, how could i miss such big news. lol
