Carrara 8.5, PSD textures and Photoshop

Hi, somehow Carrara 8.5 has problems opening PSD files modified with Photoshop CS5.

I create a PSD texture with the 3DPaint tool in Carrara, put there some layers and save them.
As soon as I modify them in Photoshop and save them with maximum compatibility enabled, Carrara cannot read them anymore properly. It tells me that the texture needs to be converted, because it is not fully supported.
Did I miss anything?

    Do you have another application that can open and save Photoshop files with layers? ( ie Gimp, which is free)

    Perhaps saving it from another app would allow you to use it in Carrara?

    To prepare the screenshots I restarted Carrara and Photoshop, now it's working fine... so no screenshots and no problem anymore.
