Yes - a huge THANK YOU from me too. I am through about 2/3 of the video. I used Victoria 5 to begin with but ran into a very weird mouth/teeth problem once the AoA shader was applied so I switched to Michael 5. IIRC there are some oddities appearing with SSS and V5 which people have posted in the forums already.
Like to add my thank you to the list as well. Have not purchased it yet but look forward to buying it. Now if we could get DT to do a tutorial.... :)
is it with the product or is there a link?
You can buy it here-- http://www.daz3d.com/new-releases/subsurface-shader-basics
This was a particularly nice tutorial at such a great price... I wouldn't mind more of these for the rest of his products. I raced out and started playing with subsurface setting right after seeing the video and it was so much easier to do so knowing a little bit of what I was doing...
Thanks for doing this AoA ! I'll have to watch it a couple of times to get a full understanding of the settings and stuff you talk about though. LOL But even after 1 time I understand more about SSS than I did.
Thanks!
I will add that I thought it was one of the best tutorials I have seen for a long time. I even learnt a couple of new things too. Worth every cent. :)
