Conforming Clothes inside a scene

edited December 1969 in Daz Studio Discussion

I'm hoping someone here can help me. How do I cause a clothing object inside a scene to conform to the figure inside the same scene? I have tried changing the parent but that doesn't seem to help.

This came about because I'm trying to work on a Manga Style set of pictures using Manga Styles. So I loaded my main figure, morphed him, applied the clothing (which autofit on load). then I went through all the mangastyle setup and finally saved it as a partial scene to load in later when I have my environment done. So I now have my environment, I load in my figure.. and none of the clothing conforms anymore. They have all lost their parent. I'm trying to work out how to get the clothing in the scene to conform without having to reload all the clothing all over again and re-texture it all.

Any advice?

Thanks,
Boojum

Right-click the item and choose 'Fit to' and then select the figure you want to wear the item. It should automatically conform.

That fixed it.. I was trying in the scene tab and didn't realize you had to right-click on the object directly and then choose autofit.

Yay! So it all fitted properly once I new how to do it. Here is the render I did... one panel of a hopefully larger work. This was done in Daz Studio using MangaStyle Shaders.
