Help: Venom Hair for V4

KC Riley-GyerKC Riley-Gyer Posts: 170

I have venom hair applied to G2F and I have the hair selected because I want to pose the braid. I go into the parameters' tab, click on all (after I've been through every other section) and there are no sliders for the easy pose braid. I have all the other hair and adjustments sliders. Just not the sliders for the braid.

Any help would be grateful.

Expand the hair in the scene tab. It's likely that the dials for the braid are on the braid portion of the hair.

Hi Vaskania, I tried that and there is no braid selection for the hair via the scene tab. However, I used your suggestion via the parameters tab and they are under the head section of the hair. Thank you so much

Okay, as stated above I found the sliders for the easy pose braid... Only problem is, when I use them nothing happens. The sliders show the posing but the hair doesn't move.

For some hair items Autofit will cause the morphs to not function properly. I find for those If I parent them to the head and use scale and fitting morphs they work much better. Getting the fit just right can take time but is worth it to still have the full use of the morphs to me.

Venom Hair is a figure - when you use AutoFit you remove all the original bones, including those that control the braid, and they are replaced with the G2F bones. Jaderail's solution of parenting the hair to the head and adjusting to fit should work.

Ah, yes. I forget that one important step. The type of item is very important. If Rigged always Parent.

Well that explains a lot. Thank you all for your help.

    I will add this...

Parent venom hair to the character BEFORE posing the character.
