hi there...

i downloaded a week ago zbrush and i really like it

but it´s quite complex and sometimes it happens that i am not able to fix problems by try and error or by tuts

i posted a couple of problems on www.zbrushcentral.com/

but didn´t get any response

this forum seems to be quite dead

have you got any ideas where there is a more alive forum where i can post my beginner qustions?

thanks

Try Hivewire3D, they have a ZBrush Thread there.

Or actually ask your questions here, there are quite a few forum members here who use Zbrush, and several threads about it floating around.

Have you tried following the ZClassroom video tutorials @ Pixologic? They are quite straightforward and show in detail how to perform operations.

Are you sure you posted to the right subforum? I put a question here:

    http://www.zbrushcentral.com/forumdisplay.php?101-Other-Questions-And-Troubleshooting-Forum

And it was answered the same day. I'm new to Zbrush and video tutorials are very frustrating in that I keep saying to myself, "Now, I know I saw where to do X, but I can't recall where," and there's no reference with a table of contents where I can look that up; and all the tutorials seem to be video.

    ...I love you.

In a platonic, gender neutral, forum-appropriate way. But seriously, thanks!

You could always start an Art Studio thread- that's where folks post their renders, WIP's, get some technical help along the way- if you're working in Z Brush you could put all your stuff in one place. It's a very active part of the forums with really nice artists helping out. I love the folks who pop in to the threads to assist :) Go to Forums, but it's not in the dropdown, you have to go to the Forums page and go down to Art Studio.
