CityDove hair issues

I purchased CityDove Hair during the current sale, but I've run into a couple of strange issues with it.

When I conform the hair to Gen Female 2 with the V6 morph applied I get this strange deformation on the right side of the hair (left side viewing - see image).

So I tried just parenting the hair, but then pre-set poses do not seem to apply correctly. As soon as I unparent the hair pre-set poses work again.

As any one else encountered such issues?

Make sure you have "Show Hidden Properties" on and look at the Currently Used morphs in the Parameters tab for the hair -- it's probably auto-following a morph on the figure that it shouldn't.

Could it be auto follow causing issue? City Dove was designed for Genesis but no the Genesis 2 Female out of the box.

Check hidden properties and did not seen anything unusual.

Make sure you are using the parent to and not fit command. What happens if you load a ball prop and parent the hair to it instead of the figure? Do you still get the same distortion?

I've tried both "Fit to" and "Parent". The distortion occurs with both and when parented V6 preset poses do not apply correctly.

Did you try parenting to a ball prop to see if it an auto follow issue? It's the only thing I can think of.

Try parenting it to the ball prop and there is still a distortion.

This has to be an auto follow issue. Since this is a PA product, support comes from the vendor. PM (although at some point I think we will have site messaging) Neftis and explain the problem. Do you get the same results if you load the base genesis female and conform the hair?

I tried both Genesis and GF2. I even tried the Genesis hair figure on GF2 and the GSF hair figure on Genesis with the same results.

I am going to PM Neftis. Thanks for the input.

Is there a City Dove Hair for the V4 Characters? I saw something similar on the Alice Character by Addy for V4, but don't know what it is. I know this is a tangential question to the one asked, but it's the only thread I see with CityDove and thought someone might know. Thank you.

The parenting and then preset poses not working is a known problem.

No. City Dove was designed for Genesis and AFIK it does not have V4 fits. You should be able to resize the hair to fit V4 and parent it to V4's head.
